House Kiernauver
The House of Kiernauver is a noble house of Uldenor, the only royal house in the history of modern Uldenor.
The name comes from Ivan Kiernauver, whose surname marks him the son of Kiernov. Though his own sons would bear contemporarily-fashioned surnames (i.e. Ivaner), historical records consider him to be the first member of the house with a proper surname, and so his stands.

- 2: Grace II abdicated the throne in favor of her son Constantius.
- 3: Constantius I was the longest-reigning monarch of modern Uldenor.

- 5: Ivan II was the longest-lived reigning monarch of modern Uldenor who did not abdicate.
Current Living Members
- Marie D'Laurent (b.1122, age 70): Daughter of Alfons D'Laurent, Archduke of Cardiennes. Member only through marriage. Only child, Ivan IV, assassinated. Returned to Cardien after son's death; still alive.
Rumored
It is rumored that Ivan IV fathered several bastards, one of which was secreted away by the Black Cabal to protect him from the Lords of Shadow. There is no way to substantiate this rumor.
Potential
There are several potential claimants to the legacy of House Kiernauver, including:
- HL Adam Vargaz, Ispán of Crezny: son of Archduke Gaspar, the potential Adam III can trace his lineage to Ivan III. Records of the interregnum are hardly immaculate, so the claim is dubious at best--and his name does not inspire much confidence.
- HL Annanka Rilder of Minasca: a minor noblewoman whose mother has put forth a convincing claim connecting her to Anastasia I, though her supposition that her daughter is Anastasia herself, reborn anew, has many, including her daughter, questioning her stability.
- Ser Kiernov Trelger: a rising star amongst the Order of St. Kord who many favor, possibly due to his looks and boyish charm. He claims no royal descent, and refuses to discuss such matters, but rumors abound that he was placed among the order as a babe when the Lords discovered his heritage and wished to prevent him from being eligible to rule. Why not simply kill him? Well, even the Shadow Lords could not bear the ill of the Malevolence for committing such an atrocity in Uldenor...so the folklore goes.
